Know your import fee before you pay.
For eligible U.S. orders, pay a fixed import-service fee at checkout. It covers customs duties, taxes collected during import clearance, and required clearance and brokerage fees for your original shipment.
If these covered charges exceed your fee, MINAMI pays the difference.

Each item has one rate, based on its category and country of origin. Your item rates and total import fee are shown before you pay.

We apply each rate to the item's price after discounts, then add the amounts together. Shipping and taxes are excluded from this calculation. Items in the 50% category use that rate regardless of origin; rates are never added together.
These are MINAMI's service rates, not U.S. customs duty rates. The fee is fixed: you will not pay more if covered charges are higher, and the fee is not reduced if they are lower.
For change-of-mind returns after shipment, the fee is normally non-refundable. See cancellation and return terms below.
Import charges handled for you
We arrange customs clearance and have covered import charges billed to MINAMI, so you do not need to pay them to receive your order.
If a carrier asks you to pay a covered charge, contact MINAMI with your order number and the payment request. We will arrange payment or correct the bill.
Coverage is for customs clearance. Any separately payable U.S. sales or use tax, or federal excise tax on fishing equipment outside customs clearance, is not included.

Which orders are covered?
This service applies to eligible U.S. orders that include MINAMI Import Duty Protection at checkout. It covers the original import shipment to the delivery address confirmed for that order.
The service is provided directly by MINAMI as part of our shipping service. Customs authorities may still request information or documents from you, and customs processing may affect delivery timing.
Which import charges does MINAMI pay?
Covered charges include customs duties, taxes collected during import clearance, and required clearance, brokerage, entry-line, regulatory-processing, disbursement and duty/tax-forwarding fees charged by the carriers or customs brokers handling our shipment, including carrier affiliates.
Additional covered charges for the original import remain our responsibility, including later customs reassessments or corrections to origin or tariff classification.
What if I have already paid a covered charge?
Please contact us before paying, if possible. If you have already paid, send your order number, the invoice and proof of payment to info@f-minami.com. We will reimburse the verified covered amount, without waiting for the carrier to refund us.
What happens if I cancel or return an order?
- Full cancellation before shipment: we refund the import-service fee in full.
- Partial cancellation before shipment: we review the change individually and recalculate the fee for the remaining items using the applicable rates and discounts. Any resulting reduction is refunded.
- Change-of-mind returns after shipment: the import-service fee is normally non-refundable.
These limits do not apply where a refund is required by law. If a return is due to a defective, damaged or incorrect item, or another error by MINAMI, we refund the associated import-service fee when we refund that item. If we cannot provide the import service, we refund its fee.
Are there any other exclusions?
Added costs caused by a delivery change you request, a voluntary refusal of delivery, or failure to provide required accurate information after notice are outside this service. Any amount charged to you must reflect documented additional costs reasonably caused by that action and be permitted by law.
This exclusion does not apply to errors by MINAMI or our carrier, or to your refusal to pay an incorrect demand for a covered import charge. Ordinary customs inspections or processing delays do not remove your coverage.
The separate tax exclusions stated above also apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.
