The outer waterproof layer sheds water and allows dirt and seawater to rinse off easily. The fabric combines 10,000mm water resistance with a stated moisture-permeability rating of 4,000g/m². A conventional rainwear silhouette supports movement. YKK AquaGuard Tightened improves front-zipper water resistance without a backing flap, reducing weight, stiffness, and snagging. The exposed waterproof layer is vulnerable to excessive abrasion. Do not apply water-repellent spray.
