Traditional-style flex with smooth, resilient power
Designed for close- to medium-range fishing with the rod supported, Honjishi recreates the smooth curve of a traditional Japanese rod through its three-and-a-half-section concept. The upper blank offers restrained stiffness and a progressively moving bend to encourage a natural take. The third section provides resilience for controlling and drawing in fish, while the fourth supplies the stiffness needed to maintain control. Combining traditional tip response with ASD produces a continuous bend and balances easy bite acceptance with the satisfaction of controlling, lifting and landing a strong fish.
