Floating minnows for shallow retrieves and sharp sideways darts.
Gottsuan Minnow combines two distinct floating models for Japanese sea bass.
89F uses a fixed rear weight balance and a shallow 0–40cm running range for rivers, tidal flats and harbor shallows. A steady retrieve produces a wobbling and rolling action. Rod position allows a surface wake or a drift just below the surface at very slow speeds. Its balance supports long casts and a quick start after landing, while its stability also suits fast retrieves, jerks and stronger currents. Compatible hooks: two ST-46 #6 hooks; split rings: #3.
125F is a lipped floating minnow designed to dart sideways like escaping baitfish. A steady retrieve produces a stable wobble at approximately 80–100cm, while repeated jerks can bring the lure higher through the water. It combines the water grip and quick response of a lipped minnow with the freer darting action associated with a lipless design. Compatible hooks: three ST-46 #6 hooks; split rings: #3.
