Versatile Lake Biwa bank-fishing rods for a broad range of lures.
Supervised by BASSHACK, BLACKSCALE BASSHACK was developed for anglers who want to carry one rod for many Lake Biwa shore-fishing techniques. A regular-fast action with a slightly more forgiving tip helps cast and control varied lures. Low-resin medium-modulus carbon provides a strong, responsive blank that follows the fish under load.
BSHC-73M/XH+ handles big baits, reeling jerks with large worms, umbrella rigs and a wide range of bottom rigs, including free rigs, direct rigs and heavy Carolina rigs. BSHC-76M/X+ softens the action for moving baits, including slow retrieves with 2oz-class big baits, umbrella rigs and bladed jigs; it also suits dense weightless soft plastics and topwater or frog fishing with heavier braid. BSHS-74M/H+ brings this versatility to spinning tackle for longer casts with heavy Texas rigs and lipless crankbaits, as well as dense weightless worms and heavy drop-shot rigs.
Baitcasting construction features include double-foot Fuji stainless-frame SiC K guides, a metallic-black Fuji PTS reel seat, EVA grips and a Fuji BRC butt cap. The blank combines LRC carbon with 3K mesh reinforcement.
