Boat-flathead rods tuned for bottom darting and swimming presentations.
BayDrive BOAT MAGOCHI is designed for boat fishing for flathead in coastal bays, using soft plastics on heavier jig heads. It supports bottom-oriented darting and swimming techniques.
BDS-68M/MAGOCHI has a regular-fast action focused on swimming. Its tip and belly bend to bring out the lure's action, while retaining hook-setting butt power. BDS-74MS/MAGOCHI is suited to shallow summer areas and lighter lures, with a sensitive action for cautious bites. BDS-74MHS/MAGOCHI covers wider areas and deeper water with heavier jig heads, including detecting brief bites on a curved fall. BDC-77MHS/MAGOCHI is a baitcasting model for bottom darting, windy conditions, heavier rigs and accurate casts.
The rods use carbon solid tips with fluorescent-yellow wrapping for visual bite detection.
