Crankbaits create more retrieve resistance than spoons and can swing the hook point from side to side. Their body also restricts movement after a hookup, placing additional force on the hook. KZF Hook uses a vertical eye so a double-ring connection can preserve movement and distribute this load. The point faces toward the eye to help keep fish attached. Compared with ST Hook Flat Eye, KZF emphasizes retention while ST emphasizes initial hookup. On rising minnows, a single ring can provide a cleaner tail silhouette with fewer extra parts.
