The -YAMATO- is crafted using SUS6A, a high-strength stainless steel with excellent hardness and wear resistance.With an ultra-lightweight design of approximately 90g and a full-tang blade that allows for a firm grip, it is shaped to be versatile for tasks ranging from batoning to food preparation.
The sheath is made of cowhide vegetable-tanned leather that develops a unique patina over time, and the side loop (Φ10mm) allows for the attachment of a [sold separately] fire starter (Φ10mm).The black blade features an IP plating finish.(IP plating is a processing method with high adhesion, offering superior wear and corrosion resistance compared to conventional plating.)
Due to the nature of leather, which softens with use, the fit is intentionally snug.
