We may be able to find products that aren't listed on our site, or products that are currently out of stock. We have a wide network of suppliers, and we may be able to locate available inventory for you through our supplier network.

If you can't find the product you're looking for, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to help you find it.

Why Do Prices Change Every Day?

Prices in our online store are based on Japanese yen. The price displayed in your local currency may vary depending on the exchange rate between the Japanese yen and your local currency.

We update our exchange rates twice a day, so the price displayed in your local currency may change even if the product price in Japanese yen remains the same.

How Much Is Shipping?

Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. You can preview the total cost of your order, including shipping fees, by adding items to your cart and entering your shipping address.

Unless DDP service is specifically arranged, customs duties and import taxes are generally not included in the shipping charge and are not collected by us in advance. Depending on the destination and shipping method, you may be required to pay customs duties, taxes, or other import-related charges separately when your shipment is imported or delivered.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

Order processing and shipping preparation usually take approximately 2 to 7 business days.

Once your order has been shipped, we will email you the carrier name and tracking number. For shipments to the United States, delivery typically takes approximately 3 to 5 business days after the package is handed over to the carrier. Actual delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance, the destination, the carrier, and other circumstances.

Please note that the 2 to 7 business days for order processing and the 3 to 5 business days for delivery to the United States are separate periods. The total time from placing your order to delivery may therefore be longer.

Where Will It Be Shipped From?

Our products are shipped from Japan.

Because our products are shipped from Japan, they may be subject to import duties, VAT/GST, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other import-related charges in the destination country. Unless DDP service is specifically arranged, these charges are generally the responsibility of the recipient.

What Are Customs Duties?

Customs duties are charges imposed by a government on goods imported from another country.

Since our products are shipped from Japan, customs duties, import taxes, and other import-related charges are imposed by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. The applicable amount depends on factors such as the destination country, product classification, country of origin, declared value, and applicable regulations.

These charges are separate from the product price and shipping charges paid to us. They may be collected by the shipping carrier, customs authority, or other relevant service provider.

For more information on customs duties, please see our Customs Duties page.

How Are Pre-Order Products Shipped?

New products that have just been announced may be available for pre-order. Pre-order items will be shipped as soon as possible after the product is released.

If your order contains a pre-order item, the entire order will be shipped once all items in the order are available.

If you would like us to ship items that have already been released first, you will need to place separate orders for those items.

Alternatively, after placing your order, you may request that the already released items be shipped separately by paying any additional shipping costs required for the separate shipment.

Can Multiple Orders Be Shipped Together?

If you place multiple orders before we ship them, we may combine those orders into a single shipment.

Combining orders can help reduce shipping costs and may also simplify customs clearance.

Any shipping savings achieved by combining orders may be provided as store credit for future purchases at our shop.

If you prefer your orders not to be combined, please contact us before the orders are shipped.

Can I Cancel My Order?

If you cancel an order before it is shipped, a cancellation fee may apply.

The cancellation fee may be up to 20% of the total order amount, depending on the costs already incurred for the order.

These costs may include transaction fees charged by the shopping platform, payment processing fees, and costs incurred for procuring or preparing the product for shipment.

If a cancellation is accepted, we will refund the amount paid after deducting any applicable cancellation fee and other non-recoverable costs.

How Are Fishing Rods Packaged for Shipping?

We take special care when shipping fishing rods. We use strong, reinforced cardboard packaging designed to provide additional protection during international transportation. We previously used cylindrical boxes, but switched to rectangular boxes for greater strength and durability.

This packaging method helps reduce the risk of damage to fishing rods during transportation.

How Can I Have My Product Repaired?

Fishing gear purchased from us may be repaired in Japan. If a repair is required, you will need to ship the product to our office in Japan. Shipping costs to Japan are the responsibility of the customer. Once the product arrives in Japan, we will inspect it and arrange the repair.

Please note: Before requesting a repair, we recommend checking whether the damaged part is available for purchase separately. Purchasing a replacement part may be more cost-effective and may avoid the need to send the entire product to Japan. Please check the “How Can I Purchase Replacement Parts?” section first.

  1. We will provide you with a repair estimate. If you agree to the repair cost, please pay for the repair before sending the product to us.
  2. Please pack the product securely and ship it to our office using FedEx, UPS, or another suitable international shipping service. Please ship the entire product, including any undamaged parts that may be necessary for inspection or repair.
  3. We will arrange to return the product once the repair is complete. Repairs usually take about one month, although the actual repair time may vary depending on the product and the availability of parts. When the repaired product is returned to you, customs duties, taxes, or other import-related charges may apply again depending on the destination country's regulations.

If the shipping cost is high, please contact us before shipping the product. We have a business relationship with a shipping company, so we may be able to offer a discount on shipping costs by preparing the shipping documentation ourselves. Please provide us with the dimensions and weight of the packaged item.

How Can I Purchase Replacement Parts?

Replacement parts may be available for products from brands such as SHIMANO and DAIWA. Please let us know the details of the parts you need.

Please note that parts are ordered from the manufacturer after you place your order with us. As a result, it typically takes approximately 7 to 14 days from the time your order is placed until the parts are shipped.

Availability of replacement parts depends on the product and the manufacturer's parts availability. Some parts may no longer be available or may not be available for purchase separately.

What Should I Do If My Product Arrives Damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, it may be eligible for compensation under the shipping carrier's applicable procedures. Depending on the circumstances, a replacement product or refund may be available.

We carefully package and ship our products. However, fishing equipment and other items may occasionally be damaged due to significant impact during transportation.

If you receive a damaged item, please keep all delivered items, including the damaged product and all packaging materials. Do not discard the product, packaging, delivery slip, or any other related materials.

To process a damage claim, the shipping carrier may require the damaged product and packaging materials for inspection.

Please take clear photos of the delivery slip, the damaged product, and all packaging materials, and send them to us as soon as possible.

We will contact the shipping carrier and request an investigation into the damage.

When the carrier conducts an investigation, they may contact you directly. Please coordinate a date and time with the carrier and provide the damaged product, packaging materials, delivery slip, and any other materials they request.

The shipping carrier will determine whether the damage occurred during transportation and whether compensation is available under its applicable rules.

If the carrier confirms that the product was damaged during transportation and compensation is approved, we may, depending on the circumstances, resend a replacement product or issue a refund.

If you are unable to cooperate with the carrier's investigation or cannot provide the requested product and packaging materials, we may be unable to process a replacement or refund.

Please note that the investigation and compensation process may take some time.

What Should I Do If My Order Shows as Delivered but I Have Not Received It?

If the tracking information shows that your order has been delivered but you have not received it, please first check the delivery location, family members, neighbors, building management, or other people who may have received the package on your behalf.

If you still cannot locate the package, please contact the shipping carrier as soon as possible and request a delivery investigation. We will also assist you with the investigation when possible.

Please note that if a package is shown as delivered and was left at the designated delivery location, unattended loss or theft may generally not be eligible for a refund or replacement. However, cases involving delivery to an incorrect address, carrier error, or other circumstances may be reviewed individually.

The resolution will depend on the circumstances of the case, the shipping carrier's investigation, and applicable laws and regulations.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)

For destinations where DDP service is available, we may be able to arrange for applicable customs duties and import taxes to be paid in advance on your behalf.

If you would like to request DDP service, please contact us and provide your order number. We will check whether DDP is available for your destination and calculate the applicable amount.

If DDP is available, we will provide you with the applicable amount and payment instructions before shipment. These charges must be paid in advance before we ship the order.

The advantage of using DDP is that, when properly arranged, you can pay the applicable import charges in advance rather than paying them to the carrier upon delivery.

However, DDP availability and applicable charges depend on the destination country, shipping carrier, product, and applicable customs regulations. We cannot guarantee that DDP will be available for every destination or order.

What Happens If I Refuse to Pay Customs Duties or Import Taxes?

If an order is returned to us because the recipient refuses to pay applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, customs clearance fees, or other import-related charges, we may be unable to provide a refund.

Depending on the destination country and shipping carrier, a refused shipment may be returned, abandoned, or disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.

If a shipment is returned to us, we may incur additional costs, including return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, disposal fees, and other carrier or customs charges.

Any costs incurred by us as a result of a refused or returned shipment may be deducted from any refund that we are able to provide.

Please note that, unless DDP service has been specifically arranged, the payment of customs duties and import taxes is generally the responsibility of the recipient. Once the order has been shipped, customs clearance and the assessment and collection of import charges are handled by the relevant customs authorities and shipping carrier.

What Should I Do If My Customs Duties Are Higher Than Expected?

Customs duties and import taxes are determined by the customs authorities in the destination country. The applicable amount may depend on factors such as the product's tariff classification, country of origin, declared value, and the regulations in effect at the time of import.

If you believe that the duties or taxes assessed on your shipment are incorrect or higher than expected, please contact the shipping carrier or the customs authority in your country and ask about the applicable procedure for requesting a review or correction.

If payment is required before the review can be completed, you may need to pay the assessed amount first and then request an adjustment or refund through the applicable procedure.

Please note that the procedure for disputing customs duties and requesting a refund varies by country and shipping carrier. Any refund or adjustment is determined by the relevant customs authority or other responsible authority and is not guaranteed.

Because our company is based in Japan, our access to the latest customs information for every country is limited. However, we will provide reasonable assistance within our capabilities when possible, including providing relevant product, invoice, and transaction documentation that may be required for a customs review.

Ultimately, the final determination of customs duties and import taxes is made by the customs authority in the destination country.
