The keel on both sides of the body naturally produces the darting action of baitfish leaping out of the water with just a hook set, making it a stick bait that easily triggers bass's predatory instincts.

When used without weight, it mimics the frantic darting action of ayu or grass carp fleeing toward the surface, occasionally leaping out forcefully. Even when fishing the bottom range with a split shot or Carolina rig, working it with a darting action that suggests a fish suddenly emerging from the bottom and vanishing again allows the Sakamata Shad to perform at its best, easily drawing bites.

BODY FORM

The smooth, streamlined body design minimizes water resistance, making it easier to execute darting actions and widening the inertial slide range. It also handles high-speed darting actions, allowing it to deceive bass in open water and trigger reaction bites.

Salt content: 8-inch, 7-inch, 4-inch = 5%(top 0%) ; 6-inch, 5-inch, 4.5-inch = 10%; 3-inch, 2.5-inch, 2-inch = NON SALT. This material enhances tensile strength, improves hook retention, and reduces worm tears and damage.

The body features markings for a hook set assist that allows you to set the hook straight without bending.

KEEL
