A DOHNA with a black-nickel base, developed for pressured trout and changing conditions.
As trout become more pressured, ordinary patterns lose their effectiveness, especially in managed fishing areas. Anglers respond by reducing silhouette, changing vivid colors to subdued ones, or replacing a glossy finish with matte. For the second and third phases of tournament fishing, this series instead uses a plated finish: black nickel offers a different response from paint alone.
