Designed to encourage pressured fish near shore to take the bait naturally, then let the hook slide into the mouth edge. It slightly lengthens the Kuchibuto Gure shank and combines a subtly inward point with a small barb. Tough A1 material provides the strength established as necessary through field testing, allowing excess material to be removed for a fine-wire design.
