The fifth-generation INTESSA was developed to deliver power across varied fishing positions and conditions. Super ASD reduces stiffness transitions at the joints and distributes stress smoothly, producing an even bend and resilience when the rod is held low. PCS increases torsional stiffness to stabilize the rod when held upright. Repeated field testing brought these technologies together in an action designed to support both attacking and defensive situations: lifting, lowering or leading a fish sideways, as well as responding to sudden dives or lateral runs. This approach extends beyond conventional tip- or midsection-oriented actions, giving the angler a dependable companion for the changing demands of rock-shore fishing. Includes an interchangeable balancing-weight butt cap.
