MASTERMODEL2 Chinu takes resilient, deep-bending performance to an extreme. A relatively firm tip and second section lead into exceptionally slim, flexible lower sections. Under light loads the rod feels responsive; under heavier loads it bends like a whip, absorbing powerful runs and making effective use of line strength. PCS limits twisting, while TORAYCA T1100G reduces sag and allows a very slim, resilient design. Screw reel seats with rubber-covered hood areas hold securely and resist slipping. Metallic red section openings, sea-inspired colors and chinu silhouettes distinguish the finish. The action is intended to be worked confidently into the fourth and butt sections, using their flexibility to respond to a fish's pull. Includes an interchangeable balancing-weight butt cap.
