An exceptionally slim blank gives MASTERMODEL2 Onaga its distinctive resilience and deep-bending action. The tip and second section retain some stiffness, while the third section through the butt are slim and flexible. Under a heavy load, the entire rod bends like a whip to absorb powerful runs and make effective use of line strength. The combination of PCS and TORAYCA T1100G advances the design: PCS restrains twisting, while T1100G limits sag, improves handling and permits a highly slender, resilient blank. All models use screw reel seats with rubber at the hand-contact areas for secure, comfortable grip. A deep-blue finish inspired by the Kuroshio Current complements detailed functional and decorative touches. Includes an interchangeable balancing-weight butt cap.
