METALCAST combines Gama Iso heritage with mobility and versatility for rock-shore lure fishing. Its telescopic construction and guide cap allow quick setup when a feeding opportunity appears. The blank concentrates Gama Iso's butt power to cast heavy jigs and plugs and control them in strong currents or deep water. Once a large pelagic fish is hooked, the whole rod accepts the load progressively, using resilience and recovery to tire the fish and resist runs toward structure. It also supports subtle presentations near the bottom when conditions are difficult. The design brings together telescopic convenience with the stiffness and control required for shore jigging, making it a useful rod to carry for changing shoreline opportunities.
