ASD allows the bending point to shift progressively with the load, combining suppleness, resilience and the power to control large fish. Original stainless-steel components reinforce the rod and give it a distinctive appearance. Alternating thick and thin thread wraps improve grip without restricting the blank's bend. Models rated #60 and above have full thread wrapping on every section to protect the blank on rocky fishing grounds.
