GRAND IMPULSE uses a slightly slimmer tip and midsection with an original taper to help wary grouper take the bait without sensing resistance. ASD allows the bending point to shift progressively with the load, combining suppleness, resilience and the power to control large fish. Original stainless-steel components reinforce the rod and give it a distinctive appearance. Alternating thick and thin thread wraps improve grip without restricting the blank's bend. Models rated #60 and above have full thread wrapping on every section to protect the blank on rocky fishing grounds.
