SPEEDMETAL X develops the series' focus on sensitivity and response. TORAYCA T1100G and strategically placed high-modulus materials form a slim, light blank. Each solid tip uses a taper matched to its model. A Tough Light reel seat with a hollow Resound structure improves handling and vibration transmission. Baitcasting models use all-single-foot spiral guides to reduce tip oscillation and tangles while improving line flow. Spinning models also use small guides to limit movement. The resulting sensitivity is especially effective for detecting small changes in load.
