As starting combinations, use Japanese No. 4 sinker with a size-4.5 egi, No. 5 with size 4 and No. 6 with size 3.5. Adjust to the current so bottom contact remains clear. Attach to the octopus egi's line eye so it works with the lure's own weight, improving bite indication and reducing snagging.
