Retains the strengths of the ring-eye Muroaji pattern used by expedition jigging anglers, with refinements for jigging: a subtly upturned eye for binding assist cord, revised point angle and shape, and a barb sized for penetration. Wire is one grade finer than the original to remove unnecessary weight and strength while improving penetration.
