GIANT KILLING 7G refines the essential performance demanded by increasingly technical offshore jigging. The blank uses 40-ton M40X carbon from tip to butt, combining a flexible action with exceptional sensitivity to subtle current changes. Its recovery helps control the jig through heavy offshore currents and multiple current layers, transmitting changes around the jig. Rather than relying on stiffness alone for power, the taper bends smoothly through the whole blank to generate torque. This combination of high-modulus response and flexible bending accommodates varied rod actions and jig shapes, bringing precise sensitivity and control to slow jigging.
