This semi-long jig targets migratory bluefish and wary mid- to deep-sea fish. The silhouette is long, narrow, and slightly flattened to appeal strongly to fish. It has a fast fall speed and good slipping action, so it can be used both in slow tidal currents and in hard double-tidal currents. Although it is a semi-long jig, it can be used with any length of lure, and can produce hits as well as a short jig.
