Super Heavy Plugging Assist
The single assist designed specifically for plugging with a thick shaft and wide gape, developed to target large bluefish, GT, and Tuna. The slightly curved design of the hook tip transmits hooking power directly to the hook and penetrates the hard upper jaw of the giant. The cord length is set to a standard length for each hook size to maximize the hooking rate. In summer 2024, size #8/0 and #9/0 has added to the lineup. *The size #7/0 has undergone a minor change for weight compatibility with the treble hook, Takumi Premium [CT-88]. (*Weight and wire diameter have been changed.) In addition to the existing BARBED type [BG-86] and the specific “CUT BARB” type [BG-81] is newly available which is designed for easy catch& release and alows safety of the angler.
